India Republic Day -- Several sportspersons posted all their wishes on the occasion of India's 72nd Republic Time, including Virat Kohli, Saina Nehwal, and Ajinkya Rahane among others.

India celebrates the 72nd Republic Day with Tuesday and sportspersons got to social media to extend all their wish on the momentous celebration. "The future depends on what we do today. Let's be the power of our nation and help that reach greater heights. Wishing everyone a Happy Republic Time. Jai Hind, " published the captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli. "Happy 72nd Republic Time, " wrote badminton legend Saina Nehwal. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) furthermore posted greetings on the celebration. "The BCCI wishes you actually all a very Happy Republic Day, " tweeted often the cricket board.

India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and girlfriend Dhanashree Verma danced to some song to extend their Republic Day greetings.

"Wishing you and me a very happy #RepublicDay! Could the timel ess principles which our great nation holders be our ever helping light, " wrote renowned cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.

Ajinkya Rahane, the vice-captain of the Indian cricket team, discussed a picture from Team India's tour of Australia and posted his wishes.

"Happy Republic Day to all of us!! " wrote India cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin.

"Justice, Equality and Liberty... Saluting often the pillars of our great Indian Constitution. May our Tricolour always fly high. Delighted Republic Day! " published Ravi Shastri, the coach of the Indian cricket workforce.

Tennis star Rohan Bopanna took to social media to publish his message.

Hockey Indian shared its wishes too.

A woman in Gujarat, will become on a journey by big rig covering 10, 000 km to promote PM Modi's eyesight of ''Sashakt Nari, Sashakt Bharat''

To promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of ''Sashakt Nari, Sashakt Bharat'' (Strong Women, Strong India), a woman from Surat with Gujarat will embark on journey of 10, 000 km by truck on Republic Day. Durriya Mustafa Cerca will drive the big rig across 13 states with 35 days across the country. She's going to cover 4, 500 communities. Along the way Ms Tapia, the founder of Movers Charitable organization Trust, will disttribute necessary items to the poor and the disadvantaged. "I will drive often the truck completing a journey of 10, 000 km by covering 13 claims including 4, 500 underprivileged villages, " Ms Cerca told news agency ANI. Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, Ms Tapia's Trust presented food to over 2, 600 people in Surat and now is planning to expand often the initiative nationwide. "Our trust provided food to two, 500 to 3, 000 men and women in Surat amid often the pandemic. I feel that we should develop this initiative nationwide and offer food, reusable mask, sanitary pads, dustbins, and sanitizers to the needy, " the girl said.

Under "Sashakt Nari, Sashakt Bharat", the middle government is focusing on women's empowerment. Several initiatives like ''Beti Padhao Beti Bachao'' to improve education facilities for ladies are being undertaken by the authorities.
